Thomas Fackler lives and works in Aystetten as a freelance game designer and visual artist. He studied communication design at the FH-Augsburg. Subject of his diploma thesis (1991): Development and design of a board game.
As a game designer he specialises in the development of thematically inspired games and develops games for publishers, companies, institutions (themenspiele.de) and in self-publishing (zeitstein.de). Among other things, he received the critic's prize "Game of the Year" for "Troia, the Game" (client: DaimlerChrysler).
