This three-day workshop will take you on a journey into the world of illustrative infographics. The workshop will include segments on graphic recording / analog live illustration, literal and conceptual illustrated maps, and remote / digital strategy visualization, and provide a variety of examples, lectures on processes and techniques, as well as practice sessions. The aim of the workshop is that you will gain a better understanding of the roles that illustration can play in various infographics use cases and the benefits it can have on your work as an infographic designer, and expand your portfolio of drawing-based design skills in practicing infographics.
What to Bring to the Workshop
Each workshop participant should bring: a sketchbook, a pad of drawing paper (as big as possible — A2, A1, or even larger if you can), a few black and colored markers (Neuland markers are ideal, but others are fine too), plus regular drawing tools like pencils, fineliners, etc. If you have an iPad with Procreate, that would be great to bring along as well.
